In carbon dioxide foam, why do we need a mold temperature machine?
 
Temperature control is an important technological parameter in the formation of microporous foam. On the one hand, it affects the solubility of foaming agent in the polymer, thus affecting the foaming ratio and the nucleation of foam hole. On the other hand, temperature affects the viscoelasticity of the polymer, affecting the growth of foam hole in the foaming process, as well as the combination and collapse of foam hole.
When carbon dioxide foam technology is used to produce environment-friendly XPS extrused-plastic board foam, the temperature rise method is adopted. The foaming temperature should be neither too high nor too low, so an optimal temperature area should be maintained to maximize the density of foam holes and minimize the diameter of foam holes. The step-down method is adopted, with the foaming temperature, bubble hole density decreased, bubble hole diameter increases, so if you want to use step-down process made bubble hole density, bubble hole diameter smaller products should be carried out at low temperature, because of the low saturation temperature can improve the gas solubility in the polymer, and low temperature can also limit the growth of the bubble, but saturation temperature nor below the glass transition temperature of polymer/gas system, otherwise it will increase the resistance of bubble nucleation and growing up.
